Zeniamar faces Prima Punta Beach in Orihuela. Other beaches to be found in the local area are Playa Flamenca, La Zenai, Cabo Riog, Cala Capitan and Campoamor, so you will be spoilt for choice when you decide to spend a day by the sea.

The lively town of Torrevieja is only 5km away and this also has a collection of spectacular beaches, along with a whole host of bars and restaurants. There is also a water park situated in Torrevieja.

A little closer to the complex and you have all the amenities you could ever need. Within a 5 minute walk of the apartment you will find an English convenience store, a fish & chip shop, an Irish bar and a Chinese/Asian restaurant offering an All You Can Eat buffet (7.95 Euros per Adult, 5.95 Euros per Child - prices correct Summer 2007). You will also find a hair salon located here.

Slightly further afield, approx 15 minutes by foot, or around 5-6 Euros in a taxi, you will find a Lidl supermarket and a variety of other shops, restaurants and bars. If you do decide to walk here, the pavements are well laid, with designated crossing points and a foot bridge over the main road, which also provides access to the beach.

A further 5 mins walk and you will be in the town centre. There is a Tourist Information Centre and a Town Hall here. Again, you will be spoilt for choice for somewhere to eat and drink. Every taste is catered for including many vegetarian restaurants. A lot of establishments offer take aways too if you fancy taking it back to enjoy on the terrace of the apartment.
In town you will also find a childrens play zone, banks, chemists, doctors, dentists and gift shops galore.

A big draw to the Spanish coast for a lot of people is the quality golf that can be enjoyed in the area. We are lucky to have 5 golf courses within easy reach of the apartment:
Las Ramblas - Par 72 18 holes 5914m - located between two ravines on the coast it is known for its tight fairways and greens. Only fours holes do not feature water.
Villamartin - 18 holes 6132m - located on an old river bed, a variety of obstacles await, including natural cliffs.
Campoamor - par 72 18 holes 6203m - this fairly open course will suit all abilities. Look out for hole 12!
La Finca - Par 72 6394m - Opened in 2001, this is a magnificent golfing oasis in the Spanish countryside.
La Marquesa - Par 72 5840m - An uncomplicated course, with is flat and spacious. But don't get too complacent!

Also nearby there are 4 marinas - Cabo Roig, Campoamor, Royal Yacht Club of Torrevieja and Marina International.
